I feel the same, there isn't any game out there that i would be willing to stand outside a shop lol. There's loads that I really want/ed to play etc, i just buy a retail copy or digital depending on price difference.

TDU2 was a game I couldn't wait for, it came out and wasn't really all that, its a good game but not what I expected.

I'm currently looking forward to BF3 and Driver San Francisco, both have been pre ordered :cool:
 
Rome: Total War - So much expectation, but I became quite the gaming cynic after its release... No game has ever got me so pumped up since and I always expect games to be less than perfect now.

Could never queue up outside a shop for a game/console/ipad though. :p
 
half life 2, i even bought the CE!
warhammer, i drove over 3 counties in order to get in on release day as retailers were starting to drop PC games.
a bit older and it would have been gran turismo, silent hill & time crisis :D
 
Doom3 and Half Life 2, the early videos released for both games got me really psyched. I remember a lot of people on these forums upgrading their machines and they were both pushed back a year!
 
Definitely, Driver 1 on the Playstation, amazing to the fact that the next driver? Driver: San Francisco (No matter how abysmal releases since have been) has got me excited all over again.

Metal Gear Solid, the entire franchise -- I don't have a PS3, never played the latest ones, always hoped eventually they'd roll it on the PC.
