The thread starter, i subscribe to Games, but it hasnt came in yet, I didnt realise he was going to spoil my monthly read the mag on the toilet dump by posting all the scores in the first post.

Its probably the highlight of the month, and its been taken cruelly for me, i usually brew up for a few days to enjoy it all the more.

Why would you ever think mario 64 was a good game when you look back at it???? lack of action and the fact you could jump underwater and get health back... not taxing at all.. Its like looking back at shenmue and realising hang on a second I played a game where I had to go to work...

Because the health bar never mattered in Mario 64 anyway. If you missed the difficult jumps on Tick Tock Clock, you were ****ed, water or no water. That's platforming, baby.

Also, I was very shocked by the demo of PES 2008. It just really wasn't that good, and that plus this review makes me very sad.

You named one fairly inconsequential bug/exploit in Mario 64 as though it was complete evidence as to why the game was no good. Which is rubbish. Sure it helped you on a couple of worlds, but it didn't come close to ruining the overall game in the slightest.

Shenmue was one of the best games ever. inc the second one. its a shame it cost too much to make another.
