Gigabyte has good boards but you have to pay more, msi is just the worst (Board exploded when ocing i5 2500k to 4.2GHz) i saw this with my own eyes.
The bad thing was that gtx 580 was affected by this...
But if he ordered steelseries kinzu than thats a bad choice same with speakers, microlabs are much better...

must have been unlucky with the msi board. mine is great and would defo buy another. did get my 2500k up to 4.8 on it. but with gigabyte you dont have to pay more

Thats kind of what i wanted to say, but still i will not change my opinion on msi since i read more threads about these boards exploding or breaking

my last comment was about gigabyte quality. as for msi all i have seen is good reviews and haven't seen any about exploding. eventho if is was buying again i would go gigabyte.
anyways going a bit off topic..
 
Got all my Kit this morning Spent a while getting my case cleaneed up to put it all together and everythings working great, have not tried to OC yet but i will be soon.

One thing thats worrying me is in games im getting great frame rates but in graphically challenging areas the display driver seems to crap out on me now and again, the fans on my graphics card seem to sound like a jet engine just before this happens.

any ideas what this could be? too little psu power or is it a faulty card or something ?

You might need to lower your game settings. Also monitor your Gpu temps. Was this card in your old rig or did you just buy for the new rig.
 
was from my old rig but i only bought the card in january so shouldnt be a problem , i didnt alter any settings in game they were the auto settings for BF3 and in Rift

@IC3 i was going to post pics but its quite a mess at the moment needs a lot of tidying and i was quite eager to test everything out :p
