Thanks
Whats the process like for overclocking RAM to their advertised speeds? Is it quite difficult? Recommended?.. Or will it even make much of a noticeable difference anyways?)
EDIT: I just realized that the £107 ram is 2666 speed too, why are the G.skills so much more expensive?
I think I am going to go for my original build, the motherboard supports next gen CPU's aswell (i think) so when I did want to upgrade would just need a new CPU and DDR4 ram
Your original build is Z97 and that doesn't support DDR4. You would need X99 or wait for Skylake which will probably be DDR4. That isn't due until later in the year.
Just to ruin it for you.

Comes with a board that has a 5yr warranty and an exchange program - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18631511
Ah I kept seeing 4th and 5th generation cpu support on the motherboards so I thought that meant I can put a 5820k in it
They are on two different platforms and are not interchangeable.
Haswell and Haswell Refresh (Devils Canyon) is on Socket LGA1150 and uses Z97 chipset motherboards. These boards will also support the upcoming Broadwell cpu. You also have Z87 chipset motherboards that support Haswell and Haswell refresh (With a bios update) but they don't support Broadwell.
This platform only supports DDR3 Ram.
Haswell-E is on socket LGA2011-3 and that uses X99 chipset boards which support DDR4 Ram and cpu's such as the i7 5820K.

Everything looks compatible.
Are you sure you want to use an internal DVD drive and not an external one to preserve the case looks?
Still waiting on the paperwork to go through.
I've decided to buy a mechanical hard drive as well for archiving. I don't know much about them and I see a lot of different options. Could I get some suggestions? I've heard that western digital are the best but there are different prices and I'm not sure what the difference is (without bringing space into the equation). I just want a reliable hard drive 1TB + (preferably 2TB) which doesn't make too much noise or get too hot.
Edit: After looking again, there seems to be some WD 2TB HDD's for only £64 but then some which go up to nearly £200.. Not sure which to go for.. Does this seem like a good option? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-415-WD
