** GAMING MECHANICAL LIMITED EDITION SUPER MEGA COLOSSAL DISCOUNT CLEARANCE SPECTACULAR **

Almost bought that keyboard at full price little while back. Got the Logitech g710 though.

But the g710 has white led... This one has blue to match my system...

what are those mice like?

I've used the Sentinel. Its very nice, quite a chunky mouse though, perfect for people who use their palms. It has an OLED screen to display DPI and stuff (overkill for a mouse IMO, but certainly looks cool  ) I'd say bargain unless you use a claw grip, then its definitely not for you unless you have giant hands.

going to keep three of the deals up until later today.

the Roccat keyboard has increased.

Last day of these deals is tonight/tomorrow.

These posts are referring to the Razer Carcharias Headsets that were on sale the other day, BTW.

Why do they need to be powered by USB

At a guess for the bass boost, the "mic mute" light, and of course those green logo lights that you can't see when you're wearing the headset.

I just received these and I'm having a problem with them. They make this constant hissing/static noise and it is really annoying. Any ideas how to fix this?

I had exactly the same thing when I plugged them in yesterday. The noise was actually unbearable, Thought I was going to have to DSR them.

Luckily my monitor has a USB hub and they work perfectly plugged into one of those ports.

Other than the "incoming voice chat control" doing nothing (at least in Grid Autosport, not sure if it's broken or the game has to support it), the phones are fine, really comfortable with great sound (audiophile plebeian here, so that's not saying much :)).

On the Xbox? I imagine it only works with that.

Can anyone who just bought the Razer Carcharias confirm that they are open-cup design and if they work without the USB being plugged in?

They need to be plugged into a USB port to work. Had to plug mine into the monitor to avoid awful static, and hiss.

Not sure what open cup means. The outer dome is grilled if that's what you mean.
