GAMING MOUSE - SUGGESTIONS?

Theres no such thing as a best mouse, only whats best for you.

After a few months of usage you will have gotten used to the increased DPI and feel/size/weight of the mouse.

wire just gets in the way, you odn't realise by how much until you actually start using a wireless mouse. There is NO lag in fastRF mice too.

MX1000 here for gaming and at £35 it is WELL worth it with 10 programmable buttons to do everything.

I would have a g5/g7 but for some stupid reasonm someone at logitech decided a forward button was no longer needed hence why the mx1000 is still the winner and with a battery that far outlives athe g5/g7 charge (a week of daily usage) it needs to be..

After a lot of beasting from their customers, new G5 due later this year (I'll try to get the link). Same button layout as the 510/518. But for me, any of the 3 are great mice, and yes I prefer wired mice. :D

id probably say the mx518 is the best price. i dont know about the absolutel best, but tbh i couldnt really tell any difference between my mx518 and some of the more expensive g5/copperheads ect. its a lovely mouse.

I'm going to put my vote in for the MX518, I've got an MX518, Razer Diamondback and an MX700 and I like the MX518 the best. It combines the low-weight and ultra-responsiveness of the Diamondback with the excellent button layout and robustness of the MX700 shape.

The Diamondback is a nicer overall shape to use for me (quite small hands) but I have had problems with it, the only setup I can get it to work reliably on is my all Intel Laptop ....which is a damn shame really, it worked perfectly on my AMD/Nvidia system for about 5 months though, weird.

MX518 ***!!
Great mouse, i think the extra buttons are one of the best parts about it, just bind em all up and you can control half ya game thru the mouse.

trying to find a mouse too looking at Razer Diamondback Plasma 1600dpi Gaming Mouse Limited Edition blue any good? plus anyone useing the glass mouse mat with this mouse and are there any problems?

Rate the Diamondback and Copperhead for gamers having owned them both, however as i'm not much of a fragger and personally enjoy RTS more i prefer the G5/G7 or MX series as i find them more comfortable to use.

As for mousepads, i have since bought a Qpad (Cloth) mousemat and it's so much more comfortable than previous mousepads (Ratpadz & Everglide Ray)

Another G5 vote here, ive had mine since Saturday (24th June) orderd the S&S steel pad, Good mouse very accurate in games now also :D id reccomend it

As i said, best combination i've ever had the fortune of using. :)

im very fussy about my mouse.. ive tried loads.. razors - logitechs.. the MX518 is in my opinion the best out there. Perfect shape , button all perfectly placed.... plus the build qualilty is really top notch. The G5 is for ppl with more money than sense.
