Gaming Mouse?

Hey guys, after years of use when it first came out, my Deathadder has finally died!

I've had a Habu and G5 before, and I really liked the G5.

So I'm wondering what I should get next? I mainly play FPS games, but mostly CoD4.

I dunno if I should get another Deathadder as it's an awesome mouse, another G5 or different mouse?

I'm not up to date on Lazer vs. Optical nowadays, so help is appreciated.

Oh, another thing. I have the Razer Destructor Gaming Pad.

Would getting a MX518 be a bad move? My hands have always been to big for Razer... :|

If you want to keep away from Razer then I'd recommend a G5 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-069-LG). Great ergonomics and good price, also very durable. I bought my G5 about 2 years ago and passed it onto a friend when I switched to Razer, he is still using it and it works fine.

Hmm, thought Optical > Laser?

Used to have a G5, quite liked it, but I don't know if the laser is going to be a problem with lift off on my Razer Destructor?

I'm such a fussy person when it comes to mice for gaming!

That's what has just died on me! DA is small for my hand and I'm surprised I lasted this long with it.

Would you recommend the MX518 for big hands? Also, does the MX518 do 500mhz polling rate?

Roccat Kone! Mine hasn’t broken and I got it when it first came out, I still think it's such a good mouse, it’s so comfy in your hand pretty much the perfect mouse if it doesn’t break!
