Gaming Mouse

Buy a G5, tell Logitech it broke, and get a free G500 :P (my G5 actually broke, and they sent me a free G500 on my word alone)

No but seriously, I would highly recommend Logitech for that reason.

Dont listen to anyone unless you work out if you are claw or palm grip first, what are you? Because if you get the wronf mouse if will feel odd and you wont get on with it, most of the mice recomended here are palm grip mice. I have tried about 7 mice but i am claw grip, i currently have the XAI steel series but its out of your budget, the deathadder is a palm mouse and is quite big.

I don't know what my grip is, but I only use my fingertips to touch the mouse and the MX518 works great for that.

Deathadder would be my recommendation but both the MX518 and G500 are good mice.

Keep in mind however that the Logitech mice are much better designed for palm gripping, i.e having you move and hold the mouse with your palm, were as Razer mice are predominantly built with a "claw" grip in mind, which is moving the mice with your finger tips.

I mostly use Razer mice now due to this (Currently a Mamba, the best mouse I have ever owned, and I've owned all of the above and worth every damn penny) as I use a claw style grip and also use a wrist rest which means it is allot more comfortable to use that grip.

MX518. (Second time I've said this in about 30 seconds.) It's a great mouse for the price, can't imagine anything beating it for quality/price. It's phenomenal.

Love my Steel series Xai, had a Razor Lachesis, Logitech G5 before it and beats them both hands down. For my hands the buttons are where I like them and holding it doesn't feel out of shape, just fits, and theres the bunch of goodies in the software.

I normally don't use profile switches but it very easy to do on this, very handy when switching in between fps or rts game.

I've ordered the Deathadder Respawn. I will let you know how I get on with it.

The middle mouse button on the logitechs doesn't do anything for me. My daily mouse (Performance MX) has a pretty unconvincing middle mouse click.
