Gaming/Streaming build

Disconnect all the drives and anything connected via USB (apart from the keyboard+mouse but keyboard is PS2 anyway) then see if it doesn't get hung up on a black screen.

Well out of date that is.

Use @BIOS to flash to F7 from the Gigabyte website.

QFlash is the best method but you need to get into the BIOS to use it.

Once done it may let you access the BIOS, who knows?

Download the BIOS and extract the file, there are three parts and one is the 8MB or so BIOS file.

Choose update from file/folder and point it to that extracted file.

Should it still moan, then you need a different version of @BIOS that i will have to find (I have seen it linked to on this forum by the gigabyte rep)

ok so i downloaded the f7 file from here http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4288#bios

there is 3 files and this is what it says when i click on each of them to update from on @BIOS.

autoexec - Can not load ROM image from BIN file. Maybe BIN file size not match.

Efiflash - Can not load ROM image from BIN file. Maybe BIN file size not match.

X79UP4.f7 - Please update @BIOS to latest version then start updating your system bios.

Yeah, select the right slot on the SPD tab so your RAM module shows.

P.S you only have two sticks of RAM? as its in dual channel mode and not quad.
