I saw the head lines of this not to long ago.
Im to young to even know who he is:p
 
You mean they aren't going to cover him in petrol and then throw fag-ends at him? :(

Nope - he paid off the parents of the children to avoid the firing squad. Seems that's quite common under vietnamese law. As for "you know who", that is as much a mystery to me as anyone else. Given his past history, I suspect it's just a typical conspiracy theorist thing.
 
Very, very stupid man. Can't have any sympathy with him what so ever. Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt and believe he is innocent, he still put himself in a situation likely to cause suspicion. I only hope this is a start of a campaign by the Vientnamese govenmnet to crack down on sexual abuse of minors (And hopefully some other Asian Govenments) Unfortunately I doubt it is, the sad fact is wealthy westerners will still be able to go abroad for sex with children. And in large it is tolerated in many countries. It's a very sick world sometimes!

any child molester deserves a pretty nasty punishment. if i was molested as a child i would pray that the sick person who touched me would rot in hell. nothing wrong with wanting that. lots of strange blokes might have a facination with young children.. but if they pay to.. or choose to make their fantasies reality the n they deserve all they get
 
well he will be well "used" in the prison i reckon. Maybe he will think " god is this what it feels like " and be put of abusing people in the future.
 
The 'you know who' comments were directed towards the British media. He claims it is all a their fault for fabricationg a conspiracy against him rather than his fault for being a filthy pervert kiddy fiddler. :rolleyes:

Should have been the firing squad in my view.
 
I haven't really followed this story ('cos I'm not that bothered about the antics of an aging pop star), but my thoughts are :-

1) Did he do it, or is this some kind of hyped up event?

2) If he did (and my gut feeling is that it's rather likely), then he deserves whatever he gets .... and a lot more.


Put it this way, if that had been my 12-year-old daughter (or grand daughter) he fiddled with, there wouldn't be anywhere far enough away on this planet that he could hide where I wouldn't find him, and he would NOT like what happened when I did.

Kiddie-fiddlers are, in my view, the most despicable of humans and biblical torture techniques are too good for them. They need to really suffer, so they know what it's like.

His sentence is, comparatively, very harsh as the vast majority of child abuse in Vietnam goes unpunished.
