Gary Glitter has been sentenced to three years in a vietmanese prison for molesting two girls, and will then be deported. His response was disbelief and claiming that it was a conspiracy against him by "you know who".

You mean they aren't going to cover him in petrol and then throw fag-ends at him? :(

What's the world coming to.

Ant

"you know who" will do that when he's deported back here....

Whos "you know who"?
After he was sentenced, Glitter told gathered journalists: "I haven't done anything - I am innocent. It is a conspiracy by you know who."

He suggested some British newspapers were part of a conspiracy against him.
Just a guess.

I reckon they should send this peice of scum to the iranians and let them deal with him...dish out some severe punishment taliban stylee:p...seriously thats the sort of punishment id hand out to this piece of ****. Send him to a country where they will take great pleasure in torturing his scrawny little body...that i feel is the best punishment for this scumbag.

no sympathy for him, and by the sounds of it, the reason the punishment isn't more severe is that he paid off the families of the victims, as understandbly to them a few thousand pounds is a huge sum of money, and unfortunately i suspect their situation dictates they couldn't afford to take a moral stand against this despicable individual.

Stuff like this really annoys me. The crime just doesn't fit the punishment. Rape of underage girls is imo the worst crime imaginable. They should have locked him up for the rest of his life. But...like anything it's all down the money these days, even in the courts. I keep reading on the Internet about how people are getting jail terms of upto 10 years for things like music, film piracy. I'm not saying this is right to do, but put into context of this Gary Glitter case

Yeah, it seems that crimes against property carry a bigger penalty than crimes against people.

He was cleared of child rape last year which would have been a much harsher sentence. This was for the lesser charge of sexual abuse.

OK, OK! I'll admit it. "You know who" is referring to me. I bribed the courts and paid the two Vietnamese children to pose with Glitter in order to take lots of naughty pics and get him jailed.

Hmm.
