He actually did really well. His voice is alittle on the irrating side but he talks some good football.

clumsy, awkward, slow, nervous and biased. Much like he was as a player really.
Most United fans like me will say they like him. He does a good job as a pundit, I could see it was hard for him to be talking professional about City the other night

I haven't heard any negatives about him really, he seems to be doing well.

He was an average player and got exposed at the highest levels. Yes, I am a Liverpool fan but ask any non-United fan and you will get the same response.
His England run outs were atrocious....
lol prior to 2007 when injuries and age caught up with him he was a fully committed work horse. With some seasons. granted not the most gifted player, but an example that you can make it to the top with hard work. Jaap Stam wrote in his book about how gary and phil were always at training first and never once spoke back to fergie. just got on with it. He was part of the treble winning team in 1999 and enjoyed more medals than anyone at Liverpool have seen in the last couple of decades. You don't do that by being average. Fergie could have and would have replaced him if he was a weak link... which he was not
