Whether you rate Neville or not he always turned up for England and when he is coming out with stuff like this people should listen.

I don't think his England career was a "waste of time" I just don't think he was anywhere near as good for England as he was for United. He was always "just alright" for England.

Way to miss the point.

The crux of the matter is not HIS performance for England, but the major issues surrounding any England squad and why they will never win another tournament for quite some time, if ever again.

He talks about the pressure.

Oh god, Jamie Redknapp comes across as such a **** now.

I didnt mind him before, but I think the "fame" of being on TV has got to him, and he actually believes some of the crud he comes out with.

Its gone from being laughable, to down right annoying now!

100% agree with this he rarely put a foot wrong for England.From memory at the very least he showed passion which very few of todays England "stars" show.

On a slightly related note, Kevin Phillips and Stuart Holden did the post game summarising after Bolton\Man City yesterday and I thought they were both excellent. Good points, good analysis of the game, and neither came across as a big team bum kisser like Jamie Redknapp does on a regular basis.

Always though Neville was very underated outside of united. Nice to see some one whos in touch with the premship and not too out of date like andy gray was.

I'm looking forward to the first fight between redknapp and nev they been very nicey nicey to each other. Hopefuly that will change when united liverpool comes around.

hes looking really good as a pundit to be honest, I could be wrong though as I am a United fan. How do you lads think he is doing that are neutrals? E.G not liverpool/city/utd fans

Not bad although he seems a bit nervy and the hand gestures remind me of watching Tony Blair.
