It is a concept that is alien to a lot (the majority) of people here, you've got to expect it! :D

Every meet I've been to on OcUK, be it motors, gym or just social events, has always been hugely fun and you meet some fantastic people that you wouldn't normally interact with. Furthermore, you actually get to know the person not just some wall of anonymous text. It's really rather nice. It also breaks down barriers and makes the forum experience more fun too. :)

Over the last decade (blimey!) I've made some very very dear friends as a result of meeting them on here.
 
What's the dealio with +1s and stuff? I might bring my wife if that's cool.


I'd like to bring a mate with as well, but after my last OcUK meet, bringing a mate is apparently a big nono.
 
I would come, but I can't make the date, sorry!

Next OcUK meet I will do my best. (Not that I didn't double-check the dates this time.)

EDIT: Actually I might be able to make the evening. What sort of time will it be on until?

And where in Brick Lane? Or is there an obvious pub around there you'll all be in?

No idea on times and places yet mate, the pub after dinner is usually an ad-hoc decision rather than planned but we can always email/text you to let you know?

Yeah sure sounds good, text would be fine, I'll give you my number via trust at some point. :)

Assuming you are likely to still be around in the evening of course.
