Doesn’t really explain how pulling advertising from a news outlet that’s been on the air a couple of days and has barely broadcasted a thing is somehow proving that ‘kindness’ is prevailing.

It’s impressive that a company like IKEA are prepared to make such a bold stand for reasons which they can barely plausibly explain, yet will happily do business and earn profit in a country that still has the death penalty for homosexuals.

I think he's trying to justify wokeness as a kinder alternative. Not kinder though to those that are more qualified but don't get a job because some woke org wants to blindly follow an ethnic or LGBTQ quota.

Not entirely certain what that has to do with the subject at hand. But if you want to be critical of the Conservative government and international politics when we are talking about hypocritical businesses advertising (or not) on news platforms, so be it. We've always sold arms to other countries we deem allies just as the US and others also do. If we didn't someone else would.

Well Fascism is about forciful suppression of opposition, so looking to prevent what you deem an opposition news channel, earning enough funding to stay alive could be construed as a very mild form of fascism.

Advertisers are simply using their buying power, just like ypu hsve stopped buying certain ciders. Does that nake you a fascist?
