well i get me gcse results today....don't know if it's the same for england and all but anyone else getting their's today?

i'm bricking it tbh lol

23rd for us I think. I'm really worried about the business studies one, the paper seemed more about citizenship topics than anything business related.

Plus I was writing about dancing lemons in the English one for the "describe a room in your house" question. Only realised what I was rambling on about as I checked it, so probably a fail for that. :o

Naw dude

The problem was i was looking at TWO B's for Science

Come year 11, our teacher had run off and along with another 19 students coursework

I passed the exam, but the c/w mark outweighed the exam

Doing A Levels now though ;)

Craftyyyyyy

Run off with the coursework. I'd be so mad, lol. Glad you've somehow still got to do A Levels though. Please tell me of your secrets if I fail. :p

Don't worry about it, you only need 4 C's or above, seldom does it even matter in what. From there you go College to University.
Not once have I actually needed to provide proof of my GCSE's either, for all anyone knows I have 9 A*'s or 9 C's.

Hell, I studied advanced Art & Design at college without actually taking GCSE Art at all.

mine are the 23rd as well, unsupringly.

Im not worry as much since i (this will sound ott) but i know i've got what i need to get into collage, im more just really curious!

to be fair though i have messed most of my GCSE's up, just ict and the core ones ill pass :(

Got my results several years ago.

I thought I'd failed as I never did any work, my friends thought I had too and duely took the **** on the way there. All I wanted was me 5 Cs for College - get to the next step you know.

Let's just say I was plesently supprised when I got my results and my friends weren't taking the **** after. MAHAHAHAHA.

As said above, if you get a degree no-one gives two monkeys about your GCSEs, just make sure you have the fundamentals down for when you do A levels as they're a lot lot harder and you don't want to be at a disadvantage from the start.

To get into my course at Uni, I needed to prove my GCSE's before I could register (certificates of qualificaton) and also prove that I had got at least a C in English and Maths.

All you need is 6 C's. Nothin more nothign less.

Really, when you look back you will realise how nothingless these are, and just not to worry at all.

My friend compltly failed and still got into A Levels.

As soon as you get into College/Uni and earn a respectable qualification; you're set. Every employer I've ever spoken to couldn't care less about what you got in school.
