GCSE's - How the hell am I supposed to remember?

I'm with you buddy, lost my certs in a move (they did turn up again fortunatly) and I've no idea what the bodies were. Ed excel aqa and another i think, be buggered if icould
place them to a subject though :) might have to bite the bullet and cough up if the school can't help you, gl

That would be fraud.

My point is, it's not exactly difficult to force a piece of paper, it's about as secure as someone writing down "John has 11 gcses" on an old reciept.
I would have thought it'd have been more secure, so didn't bother saving them. It's not like I have a filing cabinet.

Anyway, managed to find a rare breed, a useful receptonist, within 2 minutes she said "Yeah I'll get the exam office to print them off" drove up there which is like a 2 minutes drive and collected them. Love useful receptionists.

Ask people who were in the same subject as you? Surely you use Facebook and have some ass holes on there you don't really like but were in the same class as you?

Edit: Mis-read the post..

You left school two years ago and you can't remember your GCSE results? Fair enough if you'd said 10 years, or were past the point where they mattered, but you clearly aren't. You were studying for those results for 5 years, so it's not that much effort to remember them..

Did you read the post at all?

I hope you find a solution, but take it as a lesson learnt to store important documents. Keeping exam certificates safe should be a fairly obvious thing to do, along with birth certificates, passports etc.

2 years you're kidding right?

I was last asked 10 years ago whe I was 31. I lied on my CV and when being asked to present them (after my trial period) i told them I smoked them..!

haha love it :D

pretty sure most of mine were edexcel, science ones were OCR and the ones that didn't matter were the other one that I can't remember atm

I never even got certificates. Stupid school. Do you think they'd still have them? Or would I have to go looking for them in exam boards and the like and hopefully remember which exam board was used for each exam. :/

I never thought I would need thema gain, especially my HNC as I left the field that was in a long time ago. Unfortunately they got lost in one of several moves. :(

I shall just have to apply and see. Though the personal statement as a mature student is a bit..vague.
