I think he was...and so am i. That's what a clique is, as it was defined above. It's not a big deal though, but it is there and it is noticeable.

Like i said though, it's no where near as prominent as it has been in recent months.

Agreed though..no need for the nasties.

How many times are you going to ignore mine?

He referred to a clique. I presumed he meant the group of friends that (have) visited these boards.

I don't believe there is any clique, as there is no exclusive part to these forums, apart from the Moderator sections (as Gilly said)

If he's talking about that, then I aplogise, but I didn't like him directly insulting a group of people for the only reason that they were friends.

Of course it would. The only people who would leave are the members who visit only for GD.

So the userbase would drop, but would that really matter?

TBH there almost certainly are little cliques going around. After you're here for a while you have arguements with certain people, back backed up by other people, begin to learn who shares your opinions and so on.

An example of this was when Billy, Yhack, me and another few would post in the testing forum late at night. The powers that be didn't like the idea of a "clique forming in the test forums" as it was damaging to the section.

Yea, thats one theory, but we wont actually know what will happend for sure untill it is tested.

Maybe you need to step back from the keyboard and have a break. Is it really that important to you that he perceives some group of individuals to be in a clique? Is it even that insulting, and if so how can you be so upset if it doesn't involve you?

Personally I couldn't give a **** about cliques. I don't think it is the problem.

But if someone shares the same opinion as me, of course I'm going to defend them, simply because, they share the same opinion. So if they have a go at their belief, technically they're saying the same to me. I'm not going to stop posting and think "noo I better not back this guy up, someone might think we're in a clique :eek:

I wasn't there but it could be fairly safe to assume they didn't like you posting (spamming) heavily late at night in the testing forum. Simply because it would require moderating or wasting the forums bandwidth.

I read it as will close between 8pm and 10pm, but didnt say it would re-open within that time. Or maybe im reading into it to much.
