Put gearbox back on and bolted earth wire from battery to gearbox but there is a small black wire withe washer type at end of it spare coming out of plastic cable protection is that an earth wire too and were does it go

2 person job due to the lifting and placing of the gearbox?

as said tho, if you have access to a ramp or pit then it wont be that bad :]

Can be done with with one person on the floor those boxes aren't that heavy, not the best way to do it but it is doable.
a creeper board would be handy so you don't have to shuffle around with a gearbox on your chest.

I am doing the gearbox on my caddy van at the moment mission is an understatement.
Have to so much off just to get to it and it's heavy

Earth it some were irc there's two earth wires near the breather bung
