Thats the thing though, GoW is third person so I don't think it'd work too well with kb/m, any other FPS on pc I'd play with kb/mShamikebab said:Thats crazy![]()
I cant believe anyone would want to play a PC FPS with a gamepad!
kalanium said:If it does come to the 360 it will be via the marketplace because do you think people would be happy about paying for another version of the game to get the 'new' content that should have been in the game from day one? Because I sure as hell wont be.
If I am right all the new content should be the first half of Act 5 which seemed to be missing, thats why Act 5 made little sense and was extremely short in comparison to the other chapters. And if it is the first half of Act 5 it shouldnt be too difficult to put it all in order via a quick patch.
no, it's always been playable in third person, and quite a few people used to play it that way.Hostile17 said:No it hasn't its always being a tactical FPS.

I for one and miffed that once again I've paid more for an Xbox version of a game that was chopped up and dumped on the shelves for Christmas blatantly incomplete, only for a newer, better version to turn up on PC.McDaniel said:I put it here because it was meant to be a 360 exclusive, so just seeing what peoples reactions are to a newer* version etc.
I think that's the only FPS I hated playing on the Xbox pad, the aiming was whack.wannabedamned said:The Darkness for the 360 and PS3, I cant help but wonder if it'd be better on the PC. because as fantastic as it looks, I'm a bigger fan of keyboard and mouse gaming than I am a console pad.
Are they?... They want to try getting rid of all the glitches, bugs, sticky walls, crap netcode and such from the 360 version first before they go looking to make money elsewhere.kalanium said:What a kick in the balls though, Epic are meant to be known for their fan support? really shows doesnt it.

Yeah Gears is pretty well coded I barely ever had lagged on that game, I look forward to the PC version lots though, it's gonna feel like a whole new ball park with kb/mouse.wannabedamned said:I take it you disagree theres bad netcode? As i dont want to be alone in saying so lol.
I think Epic are fantastic when it comes to the multiplayer side of things. They've taken all the things they know to work in online multiplayer gaming for the PC and brought it to console. I'd say Epic gaming on the 360 is.....Epic?![]()

Had that a few times but only against Americans, happened in Halo aswell, same thing on Rainbow Six 3 back in the days of Xbox. (well not shotgun lag but the same type of thing)dannyjo22 said:Actually I agree, the shot gun lag is awful.
I have superb quality 1 meg up/8 down connection and i still get shotgun delay. The Host advantage is just pathetic, one aimed shot you're dead. I spent most of yesterday out gunning people on Gears, hitting them four or five times only to be killed instantly by the host. This a failing of live's p2p but also of the crap netcode in gears. Shotgun is the biggest culprit, then you get the snipers active reload which fails to kill, repeatedly. So yes, pretty hilarious isn't it.Jihad said:Thanks mate, hilarious.![]()
