I think a lot of people also make the mistake of looking at them as gaming cards, there not. They are mainstream cards for people looking to the odd one off game but nothing demanding, certainly not aimed at people looking to run the latest games on 24" screens.

As such they do what is expected of them in the market sector that they are aimed at.
 
decode H.264, support DX10, overclock like deamons and are cheaper.
