GeForce Garage Competition - TITAN X Giveaway Every Month!

Hey everyone. As we approach the half-way point of the competition we’re going to open it up some more. From today we are now accepting non-tutorial based videos that are aimed at those that have already completed their water cooling setup. This is now an opportunity to showcase your build and run people through your water cooled rig!

Tutorials are still 100% accepted and we definitely still want to see them! But we appreciate some of you have created some amazing systems already and may just want to show them off some more. ;)

Any questions just shout.

TLDR; Show off your water cooled rig in a video and you could win a TITAN X! Simples. :)

Hello R63, I was wondering if the video I made above still qualifies as an entry?

Aww what!? That's cheating, spent hours making my entry videos :(

Don't worry! We're still accepting tutorials. The reason for the expansion is that we appreciate a lot of people have already completed their rigs and that they still may want to enter. We don't want to be too restrictive! We are still very much open to tutorial videos, such as yours. ;)

I'll get my two or 3 mins of video up later , don't expect to win anything as other will have put in far more effort on there logs .

Hey dude, it says on the opening post ''No copy and pasting'' as you took those graphs from tomshardware i'm pretty sure that's a copy and paste in using someone elses work.

I thought he meant that the video itself should not be a copy and paste job and I'm sure that a graph which quite obviously states where its from would not be the same as a "Copy and paste job" as I haven't stolen it.

Can R63 please clear up this issue?

can i enter for a third time if i go out and buy another loop and build another pc ? MasterOC has made me want what he has, i'm very easily persuaded.

If only I had the time to make videos ! Plus you'll never understand my jock accent !

Nice to see you on the forums though.

Go on Colin, i wana see your duel cpu rig in action, keep the mrs away from it tho lol

Hey mate, yeah I'm desperate to get it rebuilt after moving house. Its in multiple boxes and looking very sorry for itself atm.
Back abroad again though so its gonna be 3 weeks gathering dust.

I like the idea of doing a video tbh, could edit it on the rig after the build :D Should be a lot faster than before for that sorta thing ;)

That sucks I cant afford a water cooled system so I cant even enter to even try and get a decent PC.

I only enter compatitions to win pc parts as I never have the money to upgrade any other way :(

Do not let that stop you, I don't own a watercooled PC but made a video anyway.

Indeed, that was more of a reference to stealing other people's videos and claiming it as their own. You have referenced external info but created your own video, it's fine. :)

Yes, although only your latest entry will count. ;)

There are still ways of creating a tutorial if you don't have the perfect rig. :) Also, this is a monthly competition, there will be easier themes to base videos around eventually.

Is it UK only? Or can Swedes join aswell? =)

Go for it. :)

ENTRY

Well heres my video.
Had to clean the dust out of my radiators so thought I'd chime in too :)
This loop was done on an under £100 budget in total mostly 2nd hand stuff, and I think I still have some spare parts left over in the loft.
xspc delta CPU block,
xspc single bay reservoir
Laing D5 vario pump
Unknown brand 240mm radiator
EK fittings

had to make some custom brackets out of acrylic to hold the radiator in the old drive bays too.

I intend to enter so will get a video made over the weekend. The intention is to debunk the myth that water cooling is elitist / expensive and an effective loop can be done relatively inexpensively. In addition I'm hoping to look in to using a fridge for cooling combined with internally mounting the radiator and blowing air across the rad for cooling in to the case. Going to get started on Saturday hopefully.

Does this qualify as the correct theme for entry?
