Geforce Titan rumours.

"In addition, don’t expect the same support from every board partner since NVIDIA hasn’t made the inclusion of voltage control mandatory, nor is the 1.2V maximum set in stone. Some manufacturers may simply decide to forego the inclusion of voltage modifiers within their VBIOS, eliminating this feature altogether. So do your research before jumping onto the bandwagon of a particular GTX TITAN model because true voltage control may be a rarity. "

So you need to make sure you check it twice before buying

Have to be carful what I say but its shocking for the level of gains. More than a 690 for less performance!!! Silicon yield is shocking!!!

Then I read this and I am brought back to earth again!! I presume that level of gain you are talking about is at stock?

Well, the article on Guru3D was very interesting. It seems that it's very quiet and not a power hog.

IF it can easily reach 1GHz and over then it's performance will be way better than the rumours of the last few days have suggested.

I am very impressed and this has caught me completely by surprise.

This is the part most people are missing. It's pretty much silent, and uses less power than certain GTX 580s. Which, quite frankly, is astonishing.

As I said in a previous post, just think of that juicy overclocking potential

I mention this specifically as the Geforce GTX Titan has been designed to overclock. The AIB partners will be allowed to offer voltage unlocked SKUs. And combined with GPU Boost 2.0 you will see this product boosting towards the 1100~1150 MHz range once you tweak it. The reference clock however is 836 MHz with a boost clock of 876 MHz.

However, tweaked... we got it running at 1176 MHz my man.

Spot on.

All the haters are going to jump in here and berate anything that is good and not even give a thought to how it overclocks or how it performs in benchs.

Is there any particular reason you're not interested in the 690? Looks like a good option to me, especially at the £740 on OCuk

Well all I can say to that pretty much is whatever.

If I don't lie to myself and go around saying how wonderful it is I'm the bad guy.

I'm just stating facts. That's all. Sometimes (infact no eff that all of the time) the truth hurts.

you are not stating facts at all, you are stating your opinion and declaring that anyone who disagrees with you is stupid

which is both disingenuous and childish

Oh christ not you again !

Didn't you tell some one yesterday to ignore me? can't you do that yourself?

This card cost three times as much as a 7970 and is, at the time of me typing this, 35% faster.

If you don't like that then tough.
