A bit annoyed with myself that I went with a 1TB NVMe as I only have 190GB space left and have had to swap games about to my SATA SSDs and hard drives and games aren't getting any smaller

Yeap, most important spec should be enough space and not some brand, or highest possible benchmarketing numbers, which are little to no use in real world.

Cheers brennen. Yep I do have a local NAS and I do backup to OneDrive.

And yep thats why I want to go for 2TB incase I come across the situation you are exactly facing.

+1 for the 8200 pro.

Got one for games not too long ago. Wanted 2tb because of game sizes, doesn't take long at 50+GB to fill up. Got gears 5 in the steam sale, 90GB for one game.

Just purchased a 1 TB Sabrent Rocket ( 3.0 ), I'm wondering though you reckon it'll be Direct Storage compatible?
