He's lost that utter killer instinct especially around the outside of the board and has lost loads of consistency. Still one of the best ever to pick up a dart in his prime - criminal really that he's only won 3 world champs.

Obviously don't know for sure, but having his jaws wired up and having to have multiple operations on his teeth must surely have contributed to his slump.

Maybe once he gets them finally sorted, he will come to the fore again.

Wonder if this affected his performance in the Worlds at all.

That said, he was still averaging 100 and 46% on doubles so hardly terrible tbf.

I don't know if anyone saw Humphries recent interview after his last match, but he sort of subtly hinted that he and Luke had spoken about something but he wouldn't say what. I wonder if it was this.
