It's going to be close. He has already stopped twice.

Bottas current tyres are used softs. Did 15 laps prior to being fitted today. Done 17 laps in this stint.

If they pit Bottas, he may lose a couple of places, but will be faster. If they don't, then he may wear those tyres out.

Just been told not to race hard.

I don't know why Williams don't want Bottas to race Hamilton. Vettel is so far behind, even with badly worn tyres he's not going to catch Bottas

Yup, he's made some great over takes this year with a better car, some great quali performances. He looks like a potential world champ at this point. Will be interesting what happens when/if the RBR gets on par with the Merc next year.

Doing great here against Alonso as well.

If they fall off the cliff then for sure they can. Have you never seen a racer on tyres that have completely fallen off the cliff?

Did you see Alonso lose 12 seconds in 2-3 laps. Still 7 laps left, once the tires go they can be 5+ seconds a lap slower, and potential for the tire to get actual damage.

They want the podium and the points. As long as they finish they'll be happy.

Ever since LHs last stop I cant see him not getting 2nd (just from the age of Bottas' tyres)
