That pit was a bad decision from Mercedes. Second seems out of reach now.

They normally throw safety cars out for strangest of reasons when a double waved yellow would have sufficed.

This time, they actually do what was correct.

S2 - 1.4s faster than Alonso and 0.8s faster than Bottas

4 seconds faster than Alonso on that lap. Wow.

Brundle is such an idiot, the Button thing hasn't meant much of anything, no one out there has been able to go far enough on the soft or super soft for Hamilton to have made a 2 stop work. A high pace car here needs 3 stops, simple as that.

But so are the others, in fact they already are and they have no choice but to manage lap times to get to the end, so it should be pretty straight forward for ham.

Lucky on a couple of occasions but still done good.
