German Grand Prix 2016, Hockenheim - Race 12/21

Who checks the times for the penalty at the pitstop, team or fia?

Team control it but I'm sure FIA check they are happy they stayed still long enough and would make them repeat it if they didn't go long enough.

The team certainly held too long, the question is did they do it on purpose to teach him a lesson or not.

Also, in the green errm open garage that everyone could see into, no Rosberg, everyone talking. Verstappen/Ricciardo fighting each other fairly, they talk about turn 1, no problems just both surprised he held it on the marbles. Top three can be friendly despite beating/fighting each other and all is good.... unless Rosberg is in there and it doesn't matter if Hamilton is in there, Rosberg and two other drivers still gets very uncomfortable and weird.

Nico is just so poor at wheel to wheel racing.

The thing that stands out is, he beat Verstappen into the corner, he had it, turn and he has probably second place, after taking the position, after Verstappen conceding.... he proceeded to do something stupid for absolutely no reason.

Against Hamilton, Hamilton tried on the outside, but he gave up the corner, he was going to try again but he wanted to finish 2nd rather than crash for sure. He backed out, moved right over and still Rosberg given a clear corner exit decided instead to go and start trouble by pushing someone off track. It's pitifully bad driving, it's overly aggressive, it's dangerous and it's completely unpredictable. Had Verstappen turned in believing Rosberg would also turn because nuts to think otherwise, he could have ended up out of the race because Rosberg decided to do something dangerous and stupid.
