Germany and cannabis laws...

Met plenty of people with alcohol problems as well, the detox can be particularly hard due to withdrawal symptoms and is rarely successful. Believe me I’ve met them.
I think he was being sarcastic
I was, NHS says alcohol related injuries, deaths and treatments costs them 3.5 billion a year, I wonder how that weighs against the amount of money the NHS spends on dealing with cannabis related illnesses, injuries and deaths.
Chris has a point though. People who drink alcohol are living within the law, Cannabis growers/smokers are breaking the law
For now he is right it is classed as illegal, but guess what laws change as Germany are hoping to show. Time to get used to a changing world fella's otherwise it might not be so pretty on ya.

If it were tempered by a new law saying being under the influence of marijuana was not a get out clause for criminality it might gain some sane traction..
Are you saying that someone who was stoned could use being stoned as a defence if they are involved in a criminal activity?? Or have I misunderstood your meaning?

Some people can smoke cannabis and not have any problems, just like some can drink alcohol sensibly. It’s the people susceptible to mental health problems that suffer the most. The pro cannabis lot are those who don’t have any problems smoking the stuff.

Bit like every other vice on the planet then.

thats why people get caught, more than smell, etc.. its meter tampering.
Isn't that more for illegal farms.

You can grow with led lamps that are low power. I'm not sure in the costs but I don't believe it's going to be that much electricity for a few plants.

But a criminal record for drugs, that'll stop you entering quite a few countries won't it?

yeah, but LED lamps are not as good as your traditional HPS ones. they do put out less heat and are more efficient but again, are more expensive initially.

Imagine the amount of violence that happens as a result of people drinking alcohol.

No need to imagine it. Google says that in the UK alcohol is thought to play a part in approximately 1.2 million violent incidents – almost half of all violent crimes.

It'll be interesting to monitor the uptake in Germany and see whether there's any rise in certain physical or mental health issues as part of a longer term trend.

i remember watching a video on YT, the man had Parkinsons..and it was bad..real bad. Then after some Cannabis, his symptoms, WOW, night and day change for the better for him.

indeed.

Legalising weed isn't the end of the world. Sure there will be an initial spike of inappropriate behaviour - but it'll settle into a normal thing. It'll be one less thing for criminals to get involved in.

Criminals still get involved with alcohol and cigarettes which are legal however.
