Germs from tea stained mug?

I can understand the Teapot thing but not washing a wok seems a bit much. Mines just a standard £20-30 wok from somewhere though, not a traditional expensive badger.

Also:

Tea from pot = milk in first

Tea from bag = milk in last

I used to go whole terms at a time at uni not washing my tea mug. However... I was making multiple cups of tea with boiling water every day, so the longest it went without boiling water in it was overnight. If you were leaving it more than a day I'd think it unwise. The mug was a bugger to clean at the end of term, but besides that it seemed fine. I certainly never suffered any ill effects from it.

i only wash my coffee cup like once a week :D
usually i give it a quick rinse under the hot tap while im waiting for the kettle to boil though

Washing woks? Burn the heretic.
Wipe out and oil it up, innit'

I wash my mug once a month or so, but that's just down to laziness... Can't say I've picked up on the flavour being enhanced... :|

Where did I say that? oh wait... I didn't.

You're right, you didn't, I read that wrong - like the milk being in the cup before the water is added would not fare well in a less-than-clean cup, whereas now that I actually pay attention, it more looks like the milk residue from your last cuppa isn't doing so well for your next tea. I still disagree, but at least now I'm disagreeing with the right point. I think.

Rarely use the teapot anymore, make in the mug, but even then would wash it out after a few uses. At work I use my mug, I usually rinse and wipe it out with some boiling water if I haven't done it after the last time I used it.

And of course I wash my wok; wash, dried, then oiled and put away.

YOU ARE WRONG, WRONG, WRONG

WTF! You are SO WRONG! I hope you don't do everything the wrong way round, like wiping your bottom before you poo, because that's the equivalent of putting milk in beforehand. It's just SO wrong!

They keep giving out to me in work for this as my cup has become pretty stained over the last two or so years, one girl even took to bleaching my cup to clean it! Now I've got a cold and obviously this is a result of the stained cup or so my work colleagues would have me believe. Personally I think it's all a big conspiracy.
