is it 35 total sales then? because one would think it would bust that limit very quickly! unless im way over estimating the uk pc component market.

yes - I think you should be able to fit a PCI-e card in the top x1 slot (just above the top GPU).

For me, I had a (old-school) PCI sound card. That wasn't compatible with the dual-GPU setup, so I went back to onboard sound. None of the x87 boards seem to have a clearance for dual-GPU setups and a "free" PCI-slot. But nevermind - the onboard sound seems identical to me - at least so far...

Some times if one of the CPU pins is a little bent this can create some strange issues.. I have seen PCIe slots stop working and memory issues due to this... The pins may not even look that bent....
