Get Classy, Eye For The TI Or All On Red?

Also do the same for the R9 280X whilst you're at it then..

No, because the 280x has 500 more shaders, 50% more RAM, much larger bandwidth. Its an overall better card.

GK104s are a JOKE, and it doesnt matter how you look at it. GK110s on the other hand are good cards.

OK its £32 more than you were looking at but it would give you a much better upgrade than just a new GPU.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (11227-03-40G) £329.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £169.99
1 x MSI Z87M-G43 Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £71.99
Total : £571.97 (includes shipping : ).

I would in fact wait until the new Intel chips come out in a few weeks to see what that does to pricing.

Just get the 780 classy. no need for Ti version. not much more performance from the 780. I just bought a pair of 780's myself and could have got Ti, but decided against it. wasn't worth it tbh. Saved £200 :D

Job done :)

How about posting in some of the bench threads? I'd like to see how your 780 SLI setup compares to my 290 setup. :)

Cheers for the suggestion but I'm waiting for the next tick i think in the Intel Road map before i jump and go all out on a new CPU/Mobo and Ram.Therefore i want to make as sensible and reasonable impact as i can currently with a GPU selection.

Also side note... MATX in my 800D would like silly lol

Surely if you are looking at a 780 then you should also consider this which brings price back into it.

At £329.99

Thats a brilliant bit of kit for £330

Sapphire RMA process though :( i've never owned an EVGA Card but I have always read and heard about how great their customer service is So i am tempted to a classified but then i wonder is it worth the extra to bump to a TI and get some more headroom?

I'm currently teetering i think on going for a Classy 780 and seeing what clocks i can get. The EVGA support is a bonus too

Why was my post deleted by Rilot? Can't remember what i said but sure it wasn't anything bad. :p

EDIT

Oh Rangers suspended, i think i may have quoted him or Hyper.

Can't say I have any regrets about deciding to go for an overclocked model 780 over the higher cards - pretty much anything out there at the moment plays at ultra settings with fps to spare and while I mostly play at 1920x1080 I have a Dell U2913WM as well and no performance issues there.
