Getting a dog while parents are away

My job is up in the air at the moment so moving out isn't really an option until next year.

So get a dog next year when you move out. With your job up in the air are you able to afford a dog and it's living costs anyway?

Don't get a dog till next year then

And if your job is at risk how the hell do you think you will be able to afford to feed a dog!

Seriously mate, grow up, you're acting like a nine year old.

Edit: So OP, I think all the above posts are pretty much echoing the same opinion. What more do you want us to say? What were you expecting everyone to say?

I've wanted one ever since our last one died aged 4 about 10 year ago.

Would get a job doing something, getting my lgv license soon for rainy days like these coming up. There should be always work about.

Parents probably are.

;edit: You've gone 10 years, surely you can wait some more. Dogs are not everything.

I've wanted one ever since our dalmation Purdie died around 12/13 years ago. Circumstances didn't suit, so I haven't had one. I will get one when the time is right.

Id really love a Siberian Huskey, but I don't live in a place, or have a job that would allow me to own one without being cruel to it and have it living indoors all the time. When I live in my log cabin in Alaska or something, then i'll consider having one.

Paw excuse. Losing a pet can be pretty woof, but I would just hold out another year before getting one. It will be in the best interest of your dog and yourself that way. :)
