Getting a DS tomorrow

Ive decided Im going to buy a Nintendo DS tomorrow and Im just woundering what games you guys recommend.

I like anything action puzzle rpg ect..


So fire away............
 
For RPG I think most would recommend Final Fantasy III. Other games that are good are Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright (but heavily text-ridden), New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart.
 
i was just wondering, is a DS actually worth getting now? For me they still seem very expensive considering they are pretty old now, although some games do look fun.

Thats what I was thinking at first but Its only £94.99 and it can play all of my gba games i have lying around(well at least i hope it does).
 
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (the 1st game is the one wit the white cover)
FF3
New Super mario Bros
Hotel Dusk
Sonic Rush


There plenty more but that should do you for a while

Plays them with no problems.

But its a game based on a movie and 99% of the time they dont turn out well :(
 
Another vote for Puzzle Quest and also Elite Beat Agents!

Puzzle Quest is a light hearted rpg but uses a bejeweled type mini game when you fight monsters/forge items etc. It is unusual but highly addictive!

You can get a Puzzle Quest demo for the pc. As far as I know it is the same game, try the demo and see what you think.

Never been a better time to get one imo, tons of games coming and a hefty library already. :D

If it's out here now Puzzle league is a good puzzler, Pokemon is out and as always rocking, Chocobo Tales is a fantastic little game if you want something different from an rpg/card battler (and can get past the cutseyness of it) and soon we get new Dragon quest games. :cool:

You wont regret getting one they are fantastic machines.
 
Ive just got mine a couple of days ago, havent used it much yet but my quick go on new super mario has been has left me optimistic :)

Its much nicer in the flesh than i expected too, what colour you getting?

If it's RPGs you want from a handheld the DS has to be on top. Not only will you have the DS RPGs but there's plenty of good GBA ones you will enjoy.
 
I've got a Navy Blue one and Elite beat agents could never be called ghey... Y.M.C.A is one of the best songs in the game !! :o

Right I went out and got one today.

Its a black one and the games I got were Pokemon dimond and settlers.

God I love settlers its just the same as settlers 2 on the pc which happens to be one of my fav games ever.

I havent tried pokemon yet will probably have a bash later in the week.

Ive gotta admint its a lot nicer looking than I thought it was but it collects finger prints like theres no tomorrow.

Well im back off to enjoy settlers.............
