Getting a tan?

What was the name of that moisturiser/shower gel that slowly tans you over a period of months?

I've seen it advertised on TV, and Palmolive rings a bell.

UVA rays are your best bet.
You can get them in deodorant type spray cans (& roll-on) from the chemists now without prescription. Boots & Superdrug might do them too, just pop in and ask:)

They are great. I was as white as a ghost and a mate recommended the UVA rays. They worked wonders, I had a nice tan in a matter of days.
I think the ones I got from boots were called "Shens UVA rays". You'll need to go to the pharmacy counter and ask but you can get them without prescription :)

Well sit ups done, got bored!!

I dunno, is it that one with the fit girl on it?

I know Johnson's do one:

- Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion
- Boots Holiday Glow Body Lotion Light

Both moisturisers with a little tanning lotion added. Designed to build up your tan gradually so you don't come out looking like a tangerine :D

You could try Johnsons Holiday Skin, it's about £2.50 at boots for a bottle at the moment, it's a moisturiser with self tan mixed in.

Im scared that the guys know what to use to get a tan, I will ask for that UVA rays thingy tommorrow cause im in town, any idea on how much it costs?

The small bottle which had plenty in it was about £4.50. They do a bigger one but I think it's almost a tenner.

Don't you run the risk of skin problems (including cancer) with those?

My girlfriend made me watch one of those Ch4 programmes where they do plastic sugery on members of the public who have bad teeth, wrinkles etc. One woman did it regularly and her skin was like leather *cringes*

A lot of us will get cancer anyway, we might as well look good while we can.

Sorry love but you won't get a decent tan by Wednesday. Especially not on the cheap.

Why are you eager to have a tan at this point of the year? Aim for a nice one in July/August. :)
