Getting bored of gaming.

Back in the day UT and Quake 2/3 had a huge scene, PC gaming is no where near the same anymore clan wise

agreed. Used to go to LAN arena places with groups of about 8 or 10 mates to play CS, Quake 3 Arena and UT for hours at a time! So much fun!

Gaming has become all about graphics and performance and outdoing each other, and has lost the major eliment of fun. The only fun game atm is TF2

I was right into the gaming scene a few years back as I followed the franchise of LotR BFME 1 and 2! Played with a fantastic group of skilled players in many a clan and that helped me to become a better player as I wanted to reach as high a level as I possibly could. Currently on a Hiatus after retiring from the game but definitely miss that sense of community from Clan gaming

you can leave gaming for 2 years and concentrate on your A levels!

Well I'm trying to leave it for the next 2months and concentrate on my honors year in uni.....lets see how it pans out tho

Age of Conan looks good but still probably the same old grind. Warhammer Online looks good as you can level up through PvP but it is RvR like WoW (eurgghhhhh) rather than Clan V Clan as any REAL MMORPG Should Be.

AOE graphically looks nice but I think WO will have the better numbers and hopefully a really active PVP community and not a bunch of carebears like the hackers in Vanguard SOH.
