Getting data from RAID 0 drives?

Small problem, it appears that my Windows has messed up and just simply refuses to boot. It's installed on two WD 150GB Raptors in RAID 0. I understand I'll need to install the OS again but is there anyway of getting my data off the drives beforehand when they're currently raided?

are you sure windows has messed up and that its not a drive that has failed?
If thats the case do a repair install to get back in and then retrieve and backup your data.

If one of the drives has died then its gone im afraid

Ahhhh. I think it has died, hadn't turned it on for about 2 weeks and once I did I could hear the clicking!

Try it in another computer with different cables if you can. Mine seemed dead once but it turned out the PSU line was faulty.

Sure, just copy the data across from your backup.

Boot using a ubuntu live CD, if the drive shows up, transfer your data to an external hdd or another hdd in the system.
