Okay, I'm biting on this.
Please elaborate on "way better for games in general", as I don't see how either console has an edge in that area?
Lest you forget, XBL isn't free, neither is Sky and I'd prefer Vidzone (which is entirely free) or Qriocity over Last FM.
Both systems suffer buggy versions, it's not always PS3 that suffers, it just generally depends on what the lead platform was for development and how rushed to market the game is.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is not anime related in any way, shape or form and to exclude it through ignorance would mean missing out on one of the greatest games of the current generation, and in my opinion one of the greatest games ever created.
What absolute rubbish. Offline the PS3 is the superior console. No contest at all.
The saving grace of the 360 are its online features and the fact a lot of people prefer its controller, nothing else.

Plus, when the PS3 finally gets the party chat featured outlined in E3 the 360 will have lost one of it's biggest advantages right there, and then the price drop which will put the pricing of the 160GB model below that of the 250GB Xbox 360.
Avid avid PC gamer, with great reluctance i buy a console. Some of the games that will never come on the PC is the single main reason.

I've already explained on the previous page, a guy with a ninja suit, the overall dress code and mannerisms. One thing that annoys me the most is when he runs, hes like the hunch back of notre dame.
I'm not saying its a terrible game in any way, i've never played it. Its just the impression i'm getting from it.
My advice would be to buy a couple at a time.
You'll regret buying all of them and probably end up not finishing them.
Demon's Souls and the ICO HD re-master is out in the future.
Ultimately though, buy what you feel like you would like. I haven't seen the attraction to Uncharted and the like but different strokes etc.

Heh, i wont be buying them all at once, its just a list i will end up playing through.

Guy in the ninja suit isn't the main character and only appears in a few cutscenes but if that's your view on it then fine. You're missing out honestly.

I never offered to bring anything other than opinion. I've owned nigh on every console ever made and my opinion is that 360 is a better investment than PS3. Your opinion differs from mine and that is fine.
Isnt free speech just a wonderful, wonderful thing.
As you're such a 'console expert', please explain why for single player gaming the Xbox 360 is a better investment than a PS3.

I can only assume that had i said PS3 was definitively the best console i would not be having the same wonderfully constructive conversation, or rather, i would, only with different people.
I have both, play both, have less issues on 360 and find the exclusives more to my taste on 360.
I hardly see why it matters unless your under 18 and simply cannot afford both.

To be fair the 360 exclusives are shocking for single player. Alan Wake and Forza are okay, but Forza is better online, Halo is better online, Gears of War is better online. Whereas for single player on PS3 you have Uncharted 2, MGS4, GT5, Demon's Souls, Yakuza etc. The single player exclusives are much more impressive on PS3 in my opinion. The 360 has some good games, but most of the exclusives leave a lot to be desired.
