Not true, you brought trolling, by unilaterally foisting an 'answer' on everyone to a question that was never asked.
The OP clearly asked what games he should get for a PS3, there was no enquiry about the merits of the console versus the 360.
You're defending a position that's indefensible, grow up and stop posting incendiary rubbish.
 
Though against my better judgement i shall offer my view on the xbox.

At the start the 360 was a clear winner due to game line ups and for the most part this mentality stuck with a lot of people. However I personally prefer the 360 still because it's exclusives are more appealing to me and I much rather the controller. Having said this I am not a huge console gamer and now mainly use it to play fifa with friends. Here the xbox excells because after 3 hours of playing intense knuckle biting fifa on a ps3 my hands are crying.

As you can see it is just personal preference and really if you are a big console gamer you should just own both in my opinion. As always though, the most important factor is what console your friends use if you plan to play online, though not a factor for the OP.

Games that come from a decent developer look and play almost exactly the same on both consoles and as said earlier he has like 7 PS3 only titles in his list so end of story .
 
Well i got my PS3 yesterday.

I managed to get:

250gb Console
2x Controllers
All leads
Wireless headset
Uncharted 2
Heavy Rain

For £185.

Bargain i think.

I bought a PS3 a while back just so I could play FF7 again. Some games are worth the price of the console. I'll have to try MGS4(only ever played the first one) and some of the other games mentioned.
 
Please play Uncharted before U2 - its clunkier, but its a good game and makes you appreciate the character chemistry more in the 2nd one...

Also when you think of MSG4, just think of why something like Deus Ex is so good, it needs to be experienced...

And get used to jaggies, took me a while, but nowadays I dont care :p

Kind of a moot point really, especially now the OP has bought the console - but for a PC gamer I think the PS3 is the better choice as there is less overlap in game libraries than you find with an Xbox + PC.

Heh, i bought uncharted 1 today!

So already playing it now!

Noticed jaggies already, shame, but its overlookable....
