Getting Round An FTP Problem?

The file listing he gets looks more Apache than IIS. ASP probably isn't supported (unless the host installed Apache::ASP)

Possibly. My answer then is to change to a hoster that has a web control panel that allows web uploads/file browsing.

Hmmm cant get anything to work.

I dont really wanna change host as i get it free as my mate pays for it and has set me up a sub account on his account.

And as im a student free is good.

The vast majority of non-Windows hosts don't have ASP support, so suggesting an ASP-based client isn't going to work very well. :)

That directory listing looks like Apache, so unlikely to be any ASP support there. :(

If you can't access your host either via SSH or via it's control panel, then you may have to look at PHP-based uploaders. Unfortunately I don't know of any that are designed specifically for this (most of them are designed for image hosting). Also, you open your site up to being defaced/destroyed if you're not very careful.

Your best bet is probably going to be to contact whoever is the administrator of your network and ask them for help. We have a policy of not helping people dodge university firewalls on this forum.
