Yeah that's a CPU bottleneck.
FX8350/FX8320 would be quite the upgrade for you.
The FX4100 was never a good CPU, 2011 CPU with performance that was less than AMD's 2009 Quad Core offerings.

It's definitely a cpu bottleneck,
I have the same cpu only with a Gigabyte 7970 Ghz edition and even with the cpu overclocked to 5ghz, i still see some bottlenecking in a few games.
My advice would be to get an FX8350-8320 if you can, but failing that, overclock it.
you "should" be able to hit 4.6 with a decent cooler, what motherboard are you running?
To add @4.8 my system averages,
BF3 60-80fps 64 player maps
ARMA 2 70-90fps on our server
ARMA 3 50-70fps in editor and 30-50fps online depending on server (Max settings apart from terrain on high, no visual loss but a huge FPS boost!)

It'd help by quite a magnitude, maybe it'll get you through till AMD's SR if it arrives as planned on AM3+ and IIRC, in 2014.

That's a good overclocking board.
Boggles my mind why you've went for an FX4100 though with a board of that magnitude.
But that'll overclock a fair whack, and you'll elevate the bottleneck to some degree.

Don't forget to run msi afterburner while gaming and check the temperature/clock speed just to be sure the graphics card is okay

It does the job for me pal but it needs to be overclocked, you have a good board so shouldn't hopefully have any problems getting 4.6 as long as your using decent cooling.
That would be enough to last you for a fair bit, at least until you can get an fx8350.

Go into your bios, and try just raising the multiplier to around 4.2, test if you can on bf3, bfbc2 online or something similar but keep an eye on temps too.
For me anything over 62c on my fx is too hot.
I don't bother with Prime and the like for testing, i game so if i get no crashes while doing that i'm happy.
