Getting the snip

If I grow my hair, it doesn't actually grow long it just curls up and starts to turn into a bad 'fro :(

I keep it nice and short now. Well, what's left of it anyway.

I've had it slightly longer than this, but thats the best pic.

So which of the three females is you then? :p

I went from waist-length hair to shaved (No. 2).

People didn't recognise me and I got tired of explaining it to people after the first couple of dozen times. I ended up saying, with a straight face, that I'd been kidnapped by aliens and they'd shaved my head for their experiments. Worth a giggle.

The reason was a receeding hairline. I decided it was starting to look a bit wrong and I'd always said I'd go from one extreme to the other when that happened. So I did.

As for it being any kind of transition...no, it's just hair. It doesn't indicate anything.

Used to have long hair while in uni and I mean long to the point that going to the loo would be a problem if I didn't move it out of the way, had it all cut off one and a half years ago and sent the tail to the childrens cancer charity. Much prefer short hair now, but having long hair meant I could help a child undergoing cancer treatment.

Just recently (about a month ago now) i had my hair cut from Über-long to very short.

when i say long, i mean long. it went down to my shoulders. still, not the longest hair i've ever had, i had hair down to my elbows when i was in secondary school at one point.

btw, this is me in Israel. in a jumper and fleece-beanie.

Did you burn the beanie?

I don't photograph well after alcohol :(

The blonde on the far left, looks a lot like a girl I used to know. She moved to England to study a few years back. Lydia her name was.

I've made the transformation from long haired yob, to skinhead recently.

Had long hair for about 10 years, longest was when it reached down past my arse.

did it originally for charity, but then I rather liked short hair for its lack of maintenance, and have kept it ever since. Near a year now :p I may grow it back later on if I CBA.

I didn't used to have properly long hair but I used to wait a long time between getting it cut (at all) and I always used to go for a side parting so I'd have a massive fringe down into my eyes. And if I didn't brush it to the side it would reach down as far as my mouth!

Then when I was about I dunno 23 I changed to a more contemporary style with no parting and had it cut a bit more regularly. I was actually surprised by the difference it made in terms of not only maintenance (dry in an hour instead of 4 hours, didn't have to keep getting it out my eyes) but also being more approachable to women etc.

Ironically from what I can see the past few years the sort of 'emo' style I had in my teens (90s) seems to actually be back in fashion, shame I wasn't born 10-15 years later :)

I came in here thinking I was going to read up something interesting on vasectomy's, but ended up looking at pictures of greasy spotty lady boys.

No thanks.
