Nope, not as yet
Probably get to you Monday then fella.

So you don't spend too long searching your item is in the bottom of the mobo box. :)

@ OP: Looking at Dreadi's link it may be worthwhile getting a cheapish card to tide you over while you wait. :(

I'm leaning towards you going the RMA route, but you should really check out your gpu temp and just be sure that your fan is spinning properly before you do.

follow the advice i suggested/ was given in another thread.

Clean the card of any dust and check temps then run it through some games (or just boot in in your case) screen shot the evidence then send it with the rma request. Would be worth while trying it in another system if you can as well to eliminate the chance of it being another of your componants :)

I think i have a old pci card ATi Rage or something back home, which ill pick up this weekend, hopes its PCI at that and not AGP.

Least it will be me online

Dreadi: Cards clean, its new just out of the box ;)

yea i do, in the middle of building a S939 setup to see what happens.

anyone got a decent tool for taken temps off ati cards?

ATITool's probably the simplest to install and use. Will even stress the card for you with a little 3d preview window plus it'll scan for artefacts too!

woo after a few days break am ready to get this thing sorted.

I have tryed ATi Tool and let it run over night and it was stilling running fine when i woke up.

Hopefully someone will answer me and save me from making a new thread.

Now, i can run css at 16x12 and get +50fps most of the time with everything set to max. Now if the card couldn't handle this it would show itself by giving a poor fps wouldn't it? and not by artifacts ?

Yes, if the card can't handle the settings you're using, you'll notice a drop in fps. You should never see artifacts, if the card/drivers are installed properly.

thanks for that!
Is there a program i use to check the memory for corruption or anything, seem to remember the guy who had RMA trouble saying he had proof that the memory was faulty?

not that i know of mate.

Now on my issue, just updated the drivers, not much of a difference untill i stick a 120MM Fan right beside the card then the artifacts are gone. But ATi CP only says card temp is at 52C under load with out the fan
