Back to the topic, the best BBQ I have ever had is 5 disposables lined up and many things cooked on it till the wee hours on the last night of halls.

We had a BBQ the other day, after all the cooking was done people did some firebreathing and we played fireball with a toilet roll soaked in parafin :)

oh the fun we computer scientists have

A drain cover? That's very very sanitary...

Shouldn't even come into this thread about barbeques but now you've brought it up, average starting salary for psychology graduates is 17.5k, hardly a step over a "pathetic" 15k. Of course if you're a psychology student you're not going to think it's a lesser subject, however it's seen as such by the majority of people who don't do it (and a lot of people who do, from experience) and it's understandable.

Of course the starting salary of any graduate is low, thats a silly argument - It still rises to a higher terminal point than most non-graduate jobs. Still though, if Psychology is a lesser degree, Id love to know why it has such high grade requirements to do.

What are the requirements then? I personally think its barely a BSc...

Jesus H christ.

What's happened to OCUK. A fella posts a thread about a disposeably barby on some bricks, and it readily spirals into nasty sniping, insulting people who went to university, sausage/beverage snobbery and discource regarding post-graduate vs non-graduate salaries.

You lot are laughable!

I was going to post and join in with what I (foolishly) expected to be light-hearted barby discussion and some interesting ghetto outdoors cooking. What a joke.

Ant

But cheets doesn't.... his thread got derailed again

His thread was a train crash which was re-railed. Ghetto BBQ and he posts a normal disposable BBQ with a few suasages? The thread was made by the REAL ghetto BBQ'ers, who Cheets then decided it was prudent to **** off :p

Who is brown nosing? Don't troll.

Yet you just had to get your snidey little comments in though, didn't you?

Depends on the university doesn't it? Good universities are going to have higher requirements to the same subject, doesn't make it any more of a degree does it?

At Bristol University there is a degree in Theology probably one of the biggest non-subjects I've ever heard of and yet the grades to get on the course were high because of the status of the place it was being taught.

You do realise the same requirements for near on any subject in a top tier university is going to be straight A's?

Honestly, if you think Psychology is a joke subject.. You're a moron. Not purely because I do it, but because it applies to every single interaction between people and every walk of human life.
