You do realise the same requirements for near on any subject in a top tier university is going to be straight A's?

Honestly, if you think Psychology is a joke subject.. You're a moron. Not purely because I do it, but because it applies to every single interaction between people and every walk of human life.

Did i say it was a joke subject? :P I know loads of girls who do psychology!

I just said its barely a BSc! your the one who obviously thinks BA's are worthless degrees :D

I love the way you think you are Ainsley Harriot because you posted a pointless thread about a disposable BBQ. Nice one, you bought a disposable BBQ. You da man.

Your OP was utterly pointless and had no merit. Luckily, the good people of OcUK have saved your thread with PROPER ghetto BBQ's. Do the decent thing and let them get on with it rather than sniping at every opportunity.

A pointless thread? In GD!!! I thought that's what GD was all about. You're making out that GD is the home of reasoned debate and that this OP goes against the grain.

Accusing others of posting pointless threads with no merit is bad enough. But to go on and accuse the OP of sniping takes the biscuit - coming as it does from the King of Snipe!

The only thing wrong with this thread, apart from your participation, is the willy-waving about degree courses.

Is it too early to award the 2009 snidey post of the year?

Well pointed out. This thread got painful to read. The op was a light hearted bit of fun.

Perfect BBQ for me is a lunch and dinner event.. it just keeps going into the evening. Preferably with a decent wood burning fire grate too in the evening just to keep the chill out.

Friends
Sun & warm weather
Beer, later red wine..
Meat (several types, marinated and in decent sized chunks)
Salads (several types)
Foil parcels with potatoes, onions, oil etc.
Stuffed peppers, chillies

Had a good BBQ in the old place, of a decent size. I think this summer it will be a panel and bricks affair to get enough space for the cooking.

I've experienced many BBQ's but none that I have enjoyed. Although seeing some of the pictures does make me feel its time to try again! :D

Maybe I should be in charge of the meat, probably bad produce is the cause for my bad memories of BBQ's! :p

Good steak, sausages and chicken with some good BBQ sauce should do!

All I need then, is the weather to buck up and looking at today it's gonna be cold sat in Old Trafford this evening. Might have a pie instead. :D

PS. Will some Don do the right thing and delete unnecessary posts please! Perhaps start with Fox's posts. :p

It was really some Brazilian friends that opened my eyes to BBQ.. gone are the days of crappy charcoal chicken and undercooked in the centre.

We’ve had a couple this week and one is planned for tonight. Got fed up with the unpredictability of cooking over charcoal and got a gas BBQ a few years back. It’s a Canadian Broil King model, very versatile, it’s brilliant.

When I was at uni, there was some who had stolen a shopping trolley, fitted a beer keg split in half into it, so it kind of rested on the top, then put in a grill and used the other half of the keg as a cover.

It was ridicolous, but I guess quite portable, as he would roll it down to the student grass ampitheatre area in the summer.

Its brewed in Britain, British hops (I think), British barely (I think), British water

Yes, it's brewed in Edinburgh. But there's also an export version that we ship over from Down Under.
