I played it on the Xbox360 and did not think it was that great, might check it out though.

The console and pc versions of GRAW are pretty different, and I'm assuming GRAW2 will be too - aside from the fact that the console version is 3rd person and the pc version is 1st person, the pc version is a lot more tactical. You generally have more control over your squadmates (although their AI seems to be worse) and the game is much more punishing. The x360 version is more arcadey in its shooting (eg you can use mounted guns etc which you can't do on PC version), which isn't a bad thing - just different. However the missions are vaguely similar and the plot is too.

When I tried the Multiplayer demo of this, I thought there was nothing new compared to other online games, tbh I prefer BF1942 multiplayer to this :o

You could always send it to me instead of it taking up precious shelf space :p

15 minutes? wow you really gave it a chance.

well i got his today played it for 1/2 hour looks very good imo quite demanding i maxed it at 1680x1050 and it dropped to 30fps in busy bits, but well playable :D

had a brief go on multiplay looks great, shot a chap in the head :)

only about 10 servers online at the time most empty, but i can imagine it has serious potential

will explore this over weekend when im sober

MP is very good, completely different feel to anything else i've played. Its even better when the server is full of good players, as working as a team can work really well in suppressing the enemy.

Its pretty frustrating though, dying from one shot having no idea where it came from can get tedious, although going on a 10 kills rampage makes up for it :D :D

That's mainly due to it not being released in the US yet :)
The MP demo servers were full for weeks (bear in mind there was only one map to rotate), over 500 players at times and the GR community really think this will succeed in a big way.
It's far better than GRAW ever was :)

The maps are also more similiar to OGR, especially the more natural surroundings which was sorely missing from the first GRAW. Haven't got the full game yet but I got good impressions from the MP demo and a few moments really brought back memories from my OGR days. :D

Thinking of getting the full version of this, Really enjoyed the demo.

Question though, Does it have AA?, Or can it be forced with Nvidia CP? Or is just the engine limiting proper AA again like GRAW?

The lighting method the game engine uses doesn't support true AA. I read somewhere that this limitation will apparently be lifted under DX10, but there isn't anything concrete yet.
