They have been for a while. ???

Considering they were not even going to release this on PC at all when first announced, I can't say that I'm shocked that this is poorly ported.
Breaks my heart to see the Tom Clancy games going further down the pan with each iteration, what was a series that could hold its own with the best tactical shooters on the format are now reduced too unrealistic arcadey third person cover shooters.
Anyone who wants to go back to the older style Tom Clancy games should check out Ground Branch on Kickstarter & back it with as much as you can afford.
Your right, obviously, the DSR applying to software wouldn't be the way to go.
But there has to be something to keep software publishers in line.
I got a generic response after complaining the games borked and want a refund. They said reinstall and confirm the files blah blah blah, as if a reinstall will fix bugs. So subsequently went total bat*hit insane in an email, used more swear words in a email than ever in history. Il be surprised if i get a response at all.

Anyone actually recall the original Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games? Think it was an original game with 2 booster packs? A Desert One and a Cuban one? Though I can't recall perfectly... which is a shame, because I played the HELL out of that game online! Was my first ever 'serious' league FPS shooter, really really loved it. Back then Ubisoft were doing some things right, anyway, such as the IRC style chat lobby and interface that let you join servers; fostered such a great sense of community and rivalry! I was even working doing administrative database work for one of the major Ghost Recon leagues, back in the day... I was about 13
GRAW was literally terrible compared to those original Ghost Recon games. The movement and peeking systems were superb, far better than any other game to have those mechanics.
the only games i really liked were the two Rainbow 6 Vegas games ( there's a new one due out next year)
Don't get your hopes up for Far Cry 3. It looks awful.
