yes i agree, both the GRAW games were better than COD, even with their numerous bugs...but these bugs are nowhere near as bad as FS
Future Soldier might be great too, we just dont know, but with all its bugs it's a total waste of time playing.... it might take another 3 weeks to fix it.
it seems like it has more bugs than any other game that's ever been released, even Painkilller Overdose, you should see the complaints on Steam !!!!!
i cant think of any shooter worth buying right now, this is really bad

It's been posted. There's a difference between Valve's actual legal requirements and someone getting lucky with a support person that doesn't know that the DSR isn't applicable.
I got a generic response after complaining the games borked and want a refund. They said reinstall and confirm the files blah blah blah, as if a reinstall will fix bugs. So subsequently went total bat*hit insane in an email, used more swear words in a email than ever in history. Il be surprised if i get a response at all.

"Diamond formation", seriously? It's painfully stupid, the best way to protect someone is to, ignore cover, switch from your assault rifle to a pistol and stand in the middle of an onslaught of attackers, and helicopters. Who on earth came up with that as a sane idea, lol.
To be fair, while its a joke, and stuff like the diamond formation has been clearly thrown in to try and be more like COD/other ****. The shooting without using sights feels "consoley" and not quite right and the **** stuff like magnetic vision letting you see through walls, its all daft. It's overly easy and generally stupid, the story isn't as completely over the top as COD and is okay and the diamond formation **** appears at the start a couple times than disappears. Feels very much like someone late in the development said "we need to add some absurd actiony feature to appeal to consoling retards".
It's surprisingly quite fun later on in the game, compared to how it felt at the start it improved a lot but still isn't a fantastic game by any stretch of the imagination. Pretty rubbish but not nearly as bad as I initially thought.

With that sort of attitude, you don't deserve a refund.
i had that email also, all i said in return was, i asked for a refund not to mess around with aload of fixes, its not acceptable.
and within 1 hour i had a response back saying they will credit my account with the value of the game, i have 29.99 in my steam wallet now...
Anyone actually recall the original Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games? Think it was an original game with 2 booster packs? A Desert One and a Cuban one? Though I can't recall perfectly... which is a shame, because I played the HELL out of that game online! Was my first ever 'serious' league FPS shooter, really really loved it. Back then Ubisoft were doing some things right, anyway, such as the IRC style chat lobby and interface that let you join servers; fostered such a great sense of community and rivalry! I was even working doing administrative database work for one of the major Ghost Recon leagues, back in the day... I was about 13 
GRAW was literally terrible compared to those original Ghost Recon games. The movement and peeking systems were superb, far better than any other game to have those mechanics.

Desert Siege and Island Thunder are the expansions.
They're the only TC games that I've played more than once.
Awesome games. GRAW never did it for me.the only games i really liked were the two Rainbow 6 Vegas games ( there's a new one due out next year)
these were brilliant for firing from cover, miles superior to GRAW or COD..... i think they call it gaming mechanics, both were super smooth shooters... but suffered from having poor maps and were too linear
DESERT SHIELD was a classic too as was Sam Fisher....... GRAW went wrong at the start of the 2nd game, it's a bit like FEAR, the 1st game was great but the next two were Krap.
i dont know why this keeps happening, but it just does

The last good Rainbow Six game was Raven Shield, they've made a complete travesty of the series since then.
yea they're delaying FAR CRY 3 to late november... to ``make improvements to the gameplay``.
so something is not right with it, it's probably too similar to the 2nd game
people have probably played the demo and reported back that it sucks !!!!! shame this didn't happen to Future Soldier, because it's better the game is delayed than a pile of **** in September
