i wish my guys didnt shoot the crap out of the convoys so much...the target always ends up in flames!!!

Clear a full region off collecting everything and doing all missions then move onto the next one, tended to do them by difficulty, all the 1's then 2's,3,4,5 etc. When got bored of a normal zone went to either of the top two that has no story mission to collect stuff.
 
Forgot that I had this, it came with my old 1080ti and I never downloaded it.

Started the campaign last night and I must say, even though I suck at shooters and generally hate squad type games I might enjoy this.

Do people use the squad features much? I'm terrible at games like this and have all on keeping myself alive never mind control;ling a squad, so far I just play it as a FPS but with some random guys following me around :D

Are grenades supposed to be useless or do they require skill beyond my means to make them work?

Any tips before I make any mistakes that will bite me later on?
 
squads useful when it comes to hijacking helicopters to get resources, use the sync shot to take down enemies on the blind side of the helicopter or planes

Yup, squad can be suprisingly useful, on stealth missions in particular when paired with a drone. As you upgrade, you can highlight up to 3 targets for quick sync, so when you fire a shot, they will one shot up to 3 enemies. Can clear a perimeter of a camp real swiftly that way and have a drone up in the sky picking out the targets. There shots are also 100% accurate, one shot and silent, so OP. :D
 
If anyone had me on Uplay, Add "DigitalXA". I just had my account hacked, named changed to "comrad maksim" but changed my name to DigitalXA, enabled 2 step now but lost all friends and points..
 
Guys, just started playing this in SP mode and enjoying it very much. But I'm a bit disappointed with the 'Stealth' aspect of the game i.e. when trying to sneak up on enemy bases etc. It seems very limited, the sync shot thingy works ok but the enemy seem to get spooked very easily indeed.

What do you guys do to sneakily attack bases without setting off the proverbial fireworks?
 
Take out the alarm (flashing box on the tall tower), disable the generator. I always snipe from a distance, let them cool down and then snipe another enemy. It takes time though.

Cool, cheers. I've just went after Polito's (sp?) car and attacked that base by sniping from a long distance then letting things go quiet and moving around the perimeter to snipe more bad guys. Seems to be working well. :cool:
 
Taking out one guy, letting them give up, then doing it again can be long. But that way the base isn't alerted. Sometimes going it loud is fun. Make use of the nighttime as well. What you using as Sniper?
 
Finished it a long time ago and loved it!

Best weapons: Tar 21 assault rifle, MSR bolt action sniper rifle, G28 for fast firing sniper rifle. Another enormously fun bolt action sniper is the SR-1; take the suppressor off, the sound is amazing!

Secretly hoping for more missions dlc and more weapons (Heckler & Koch HK433 assault rifle please (a newly released weapon)).
 
Aarghh!!! Why is there no 'hold fire' team command??!!! So frustrating when you are assaulting an outpost and trying to remain stealthy then the enemy gets spooked a little and your guys start sounding off and going loud!
