Also going on what davida76 said, i'd say not much. I think this game is very much 'what you make it'. So using drones and using tactics to try to not get detected are where the fun is but not necessary. I think I'll ramp up the difficulty and see if that helps.

Yea, the stealth aspect is fun but splinter cell has that covered. I think it's very much focused on online squad play. Hopefully the new one is a bit more structured for solo play and more proper mission focused rather than a vast map full of gather-able items.

FTFY.

I played the trial quite a while back and stopped for some reason. It was on sale for £12 so I thought I would give it ago again. Now I remember why I gave up playing. Get in car drive to mission location, tell everyone to shoot, drive around for a bit, collect mission goal. Rinse/repeat for every mission. I have cleared the first area, is the rest of the game like this?

Well, isn't it just like every other game if you oversimplify it like that? :)

I probably put 10 hours into it, one of the most boring games i have ever played. I just bought Deep Rock Galactic and I'm having a blast, much, much more fun than this crud.

The inability to jump is so infuriating, yes ubisoft I would like to climb that rocky outcrop and *stealthily* kill the targets, oh wait, whats that, I finally got up there and now my feet are stuck in a hole I can't get out of..... fast travel time.

I remember when people moaned at ANET for Guild Wars not having an option to jump. They certainly turned that around/got their own back in GW2, with insane jumping puzzles.

Yes they did, just a shame they didn't fix the game's camera system so that jumping puzzles and verticality were actually fun.

just finished a GRW sesh on my new(ish) rig..I was at 1440p High detail, and was getting 90-105FPS. My GPU (MSI Trio-x rtx 2080) was maxed out and temps peaking at 61c..

do these stats seem on par/acceptable?

Glad I just spotted this thread, I gave up on this game for two reasons, the main one is the seemingly impossible mission where you escort the guy to the airport, am I missing something here?

The other is, its a typical Ubisoft game and a bit boring doing the same thing over and over again, I dont know why I buy them however I would like to finish it so if anyone could advise on what I'm missing on the above mission because I've tried everything I can think of inc blocking the road with cars which of course completely disappeared as soon as I turned my back

Apparently this mission is very easy if you use a chopper . I am currently stuck on the "kill the predator" mission ;)
