Ghostbusters Reboot

Poster did nothing for me, most of that trailer did very little for me but nearer the end I had a little more hope! I am surprised Rebel Wilson wasn't in this, along with maybe Amy Polher, Queen Latifah (token) and Alison Brie (wild card).
 
I've just seen this on facebook, what were they smoking when they came up with this pile of ****! I'm actually annoyed that it's been made!

I honestly thought it was a slapstick scary movie style spoof of the original or just a joke advert before releasing the real one.

Melissa McCarthy just isn't funny, I've seen her previous acting roles and I don't think I've ever laughed at her!
 
It doesnt look as bad as people were moaning about (from the concept)

Main thing really is that the humour in the orginal is more sarcastic than slapstick? this looks more of the latter? (based on the trailer anyhow)

The ghost effects don't even look good!

I watched the original at the cinema last year and it's such a great film. Why do they have to release these horrible slapstick reboots is beyond me. Did they watch a different film to me?
 
The characters and the actors cast made the films (originlas) awesome. I don't think they'd have worked (as well) with other actors of the time.

And what's with a laser bear trap?
It just looks stupid, and I hate all the characters just from that trailer. I was biased against it in the first place, admittedly.... but it's just reinforced my opinion that it'll be awful.
 
30 years ago 4 scientists save New York. So Winston is suddenly a scientist? News to me.

The first ghost they encounter that pukes is in a library and vaguely resembles the same scene from the original, slimer is also in it. Somehow slapping someone, seeing the ghost leave then slapping them again is funny? Pass me the needle and thread so i can stitch up my sides.

About the only positive thing i can say is at least the proton effects looked good, ghost effects looked somewhat like the other 2 movies, a bit better maybe.

Also i might add does that ****ing director intentionally go out of his way to be in a suit every damn second of the day? I swear every time he's on camera or pictured in any way he's in a suit, even while directing a friggin movie from the looks of things.

I think the original is hugely over rated, although ok when I was about 8 but this looks to be an utter stinker. If loose women made movies...
